Sole Source

Simple Steps to Establish 8(a) Sole Source Contract with Wyandotte Technologies:

The Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Sole Source vehicle enables agencies to engage in direct buy contracts with certified contractors. Wyandotte Technologies’s SBA 8(a) and SDB business development certification is valid through July 2019.

As per FAR 19.805-1(b)(2) and 13 CFR 124.506(b) As a Tribally-Owned 8(a) contractor, Wyandotte Technologies can accept Sole Source Awards of unlimited dollar thresholds.

  1. The Government program manager or interested party develops a statement of work, prepares government estimate, and obtains the necessary funding.

  2. The Government program manager or interested party chooses Wyandotte Technologies to perform the work and submits a procurement request to the agency contracting officer.

  3. The agency contracting officer prepares and submits an "Offer Letter" to Wyandotte Technologies’s SBA Business Development Specialist, L. Pat Smith (louise.smith@sba.gov) 405-609-8027.

  4. SBA processes the Offer Letter and returns it to the agency contracting officer who submits the Statement of Work and Request for Proposal or Quotation to Wyandotte Technologies.

  5. Wyandotte Technologies submits the proposal which is evaluated and negotiated (if necessary) by the agency.

  6. The contract is awarded to Wyandotte Technologies.

These steps can be accomplished within few days. Wyandotte Technologies has a great working relationship with the SBA assigned Business Development Specialist (BDS) who is willing to help clarify any issue related to 8(a) program and facilitate any contract awards.
